Legend has it that ‘Envy’ was banished from Pony Land for her furiously jealous nature. Whilst hiding in shame in the woods she found ‘Baby Jade’ lost, alone & very frightened. She took the frightened baby under her wing and the pair have been inseparable ever since.
The symbol they share is a stylised swirling leaf design painted with artist’s acrylic paints. The design has been completed with blue glitter highlights, blue painted stars and tiny white star crystals. Both ponies have been given a pretty necklace and a pair of pearlescent wings (handmade by me – thanks to Robin for her tutorial) to complete their ethereal look. The designs have then been sealed using a matt varnish.

‘Envy & Jade’ are the fifth & sixth ponies in my 'Mystics Series.' This mother and daughter pair live in the woods of pony land hiding amongst the leaves of the ancient trees.
Both ponies originally started life as G3 ponies that really needed a make over!
They have been lovingly re-haired using a combination of ‘Pearly White’ (from Retrodolls.co.uk) ‘Morning Mist’ & ‘Dark Envy’ (from CustomPony.com). Both ponies have a slightly different hair design, with a combination of bead work and braiding.
