She is the Totem of the sun and maintains balance between earth, air, water & fire. Her magical 'light' spells bring happiness & joy whilst warding off any dark shadows that may lurk in pony land.

 

Equinox originally started life as a G1 Sundance that really needed a make over!

 

 

 

 

 

She has a pair of handmade glittery butterfly wings (made by me - thanks Robin for your tutorial!!) in yellow & red with crystal details.

 

Her hair has been part braided & finished with a scattering of beads She also has several glitter crystals on her body. Finally she has a 'magical' charm necklace with a 'sun' pendant.

Equinox is the fourth pony in my 'Mystics Series.' She is the youngest of the 'Dragon Dreamer' sisters.
The 'Dragon Dreamer' Sisters are Mystical Guardians. Equinox is the Guardian of the Day and presides over Pony land from Dawn until Dusk.

 

 

 

 

She has been lovingly rehaired using a combination of Fiery Sunset, Pearly White & Gothic Purple (all from Retrodolls.co.uk).


Her new symbol is a red, yellow & purple dragon with glitter highlights, which I painted using artists acrylics. The design has then been sealed using a matt varnish.
