‘Party Sparkle’ is always the heart and soul of the party. She loves nothing better than to strutt her funky stuff on the dance floor to burn off the copious amounts of birthday cake and jelly and ice cream she has eaten earlier in the evening! ‘Party Sparkle’ always carries a special bag of party stardust with her which she sprinkles over all the other ponies to make sure their evening goes with a bang!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Her design has been complemented by a scattering of silver & multicoloured glitter ‘droplets’ on her forehead and body. To complete her look she has swirls of blue and silver glitter painted all over her body. The design has been painted with artist’s acrylics & sealed using a matt varnish.

‘Party Sparkle’ was specially made for the 2008 UK PonyCon. The theme of the 2008 convention is ‘Birthday Party’ so every custom made had to fit into this theme and start with the first name ‘Party’, hence my pony’s name! My own alternative name for her is ‘Stardust’.

 

 

 

 

History & Makeover
‘Party Sparkle’ originally started life as a G3 Pony that really needed a make over!
She has been lovingly re-haired using a combination of ‘Kingfisher’ (from Retrodolls.co.uk) & ‘Leap Frog’ & ‘Raspberry’ (from Custompony.com). She wears a glittery tiara on her head and carries a matching brush so that she can make her mane and tail look beautiful for her party events. She also has a pretty charm in her hair to really make sure that she stands out from the crowd!
Her symbols are a series of glittery stars, balloons and swirls painted in blue, green, pink & gold.
